Unit 3 

Description:

You complete the first five pages in this phase of your Capstone Project. This page requirement does not include the cover page and the reference page. You will begin to organize the Capstone project by developing goals and objectives.

Instructions:

You will focus on developing the goals and objectives of your project. You will be conducting in-depth research and identifying sources necessary for your plan.

According to your research:

1. You should state your problem or opportunity (Approximately one-two paragraph)

2. Give a general background of this issue (Approximately one page)

3. You will create 3-5 overreaching goals and 4-5 SMART objectives for each goal.

Please see Until 3 Readings and Resources for further explanation of creating both goals and objectives. (Approximately 3 – 4 pages). Note: these goals and objectives will likely be modified as you build the rest of your paper to further your research through the coming weeks

• Your Topic Statement should include the sections listed in the instructions.
• Your research should include at least 5 professional resources
• Length: 5 pages, excluding title page and references.
• APA is required (in-text citations and formatted reference page), including section headings and 3 rd person voice

Unit 4

In this phase of your Capstone Project, you will construct a draft of the financial aspects of your project. Please submit your draft to the Unit 4 Discussion Board and provide constructive comments to at least two other students. Once you receive your feedback, evaluate their feedback and modify your project based on their feedback to submit to the instructor next week.

Instructions:

Complete a 3-5 page draft of the financial aspects of your Capstone project. Upload this draft to your group section of Blackboard. Please evaluate and provide constructive feedback of 2-3 paragraphs to at least two students on their Capstone project’s financial and quantitative measurements. Once you evaluate your feedback and make the necessary modifications to your project to incorporate for next week’s Capstone project assignment, it will be submitted to the instructor. 

This assignment should include the following:

• Appraisal of your project’s financial health by evaluating data derived from management and managerial accounting practices and functions.
• Assessment and interpretation of the financial statements and information to determine its financial position and health.
• Evidence of application of analytical models used to evaluate financial performance.
