Conduct an Internet search using the following key terms (feel free to organize them in different ways): Temporary Foreign Worker, International Contract Labor program/s. Discuss what these programs are, how did they start, and why are they important.

Locate a news article on these programs. Provide a summary of the article.

Step 3

Conduct an internet search on the type of jobs available to temporary workers. Search “Seasonal Jobs” at the US Department of Labor website. Discuss the type of jobs available to temporary workers. What type of benefits are provided, if any? Were you aware of these programs and jobs? Reflect on what you found.

Step 4

Conduct a search on “Protecting Temporary Workers” at OSHA.gov (US Dept of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration). Provide a summary of your findings.
