Look at the five dissertations (or other references) you pulled from ProQuest. It is extremely important that all five chapters in a dissertation align to be considered quality research. A dissertation includes a title, problem statement, purpose of study, research questions, (and hypotheses if the study is quantitative). In this activity, you will review the five dissertations (OR OTHER REFERENCES) to check for alignment. You will look at Chapter I in each of the five dissertations you found, and find the title, problem, purpose, research questions, hypotheses (if quantitative), and place them on the Alignment Matrix that can be found in the Canvas Shell. Read the problems and purposes carefully. You do not copy the entire section. Read and find the ultimate problem that the researcher was seeking to answer. The problem and purpose should be around three or four sentences for each one. You should see the same language being used in the title, problem, purpose, and research questions.
