For this project you will make a promotional video for social media between 30-60 seconds to promote any item or service you would like. You will have access to all of the Digital Video Cameras and microphones.

This project will be broken into three distinct parts:

• Pre-production (Planning)
• Production (Shooting)
• Post-production (Editing)

During each phase you will have goals to meet before you can move on to the next phase.

Pre-production:

• Brainstorm ideas
• Complete your script
• Complete your storyboards
• Complete your shot list

Production:

• Collect your shots
• Record your voice-overs, if needed
• Create your graphics (title cards)
• Collect or record your sound beds, sound tracks and natural sound if necessary

Post-production:

• Edit your footage down to match your script and shot list
• Combine your edited shots into one timeline
• Insert your sound effects behind your rough edit
• Tighten up your rough edit to match your sound effects and background music
• Insert your graphics
• Output your final product as an mp4

Your Project should be 30 seconds minimum and 60 seconds maximum. A tight time constraint is very typical of a real production environment where time is money and the client is going to be very concerned about getting the message across in an engaging and convincing way that is succinct. Do Not submit a project longer than the maximum length allotted.
