Add at spout of dish. DO NOT REMOVE WATCH GLASS.Carefully tilt the dish back and forth a couple of times to ensure that ALL THE ACID HAS CONTACTED the sodium bicarbonate.GENTLY heat the dish by using a LOW flame and MOVING the burner back and forth to avoid splattering.With a little to no liquid left, increase the heat on the evaporation dish and heat strongly until no water is visible on the watch glass.Remove dish when no liquid remains.
