You are the Director of IT at Quality hospital. You have been tasked with providing a presentation regarding cloud computing to the Board of Directors.  They have very little to no knowledge about cloud computing so the presentation should be easy to understand. You can make any assumptions you want about the current system that Quality Hospital uses.

You will develop the PowerPoint presentation and do voice over PowerPoint (see resource links on left menu). The presentation should be about 10-15 slides. Be sure to cite your sources on the last slide. If you do not do the voice over, you will receive a 0 for the assignment. This assignment is worth 40 point – see rubric.

Note: You may use other software such as iMovie or Screen-cast-o-matic but then it must be submitted in an MP4 format.

One thing you want to ask yourself about your slides: Is all my information on the slides so that I am not needed as a presenter? The Board can just read the handout. If the answer is YES, then you have too much information on your slides. You need to trim it down. Instead of developing a presentation, you have written a script. Good presentations take a lot of planning and a lot of practice (hence this assignment). Do not think that the PowerPoints in this course are a good example for a live presentation. They serve a different purpose for the course. I guarantee at some point when working in health care you will have to give some sort of presentation. Think of this assignment as preparation for that. 

You have two weeks to complete this assignment. It is due next week – Week 15.
