Decide the type of for-profit business you wish to analyze for Case 2. The choices are:

• A bakery
• Artisanal food producer
• A small manufacturer of sports-themed clothing
• A candle, soap, or skincare product maker (small business)

Do not put in the name of a real business, brand, or company. You may give your business a name when you analyze it.

Defining the Concepts

Using the resources provided:

• Business implications of large quantity price reductions. Include a discussion of second-degree price discrimination. (1 page)
• Interdisciplinary business implications of discontinuing a product. (1 page)
• Business implications of the make-or-buy decision. (1 page)

The explanations for each concept must be one page in length and include in-text citations.
