The Future of Water

So your assignment this week is to write a speculative fiction piece,  based on the future of water. Good speculative fiction is based on  science, so here are a few online resources to inform your 3 page  papers.

Some places, like the American West, where we grow much of our winter  produce, are facing both flooding when it does rain, and more  pronounced periods of drought. These predictions couldn’t predict over  700 straight days without rain in Los Angeles, because it was outside of  the probabilities they assumed.
