Is the facility a level of trauma for hospital listed in work experience?
How many beds for inpatient unit or emergency room? How many operating rooms (OR)?
Outpatient/Clinic: how many patients applicant sees per day/week, what diseases/illness/disorders are typically seen on a daily basis? What is demographic of patients (newborn, pediatric, teenager, adult, geriatrics).
Inpatient: describe the patient population see (newborn, pediatric, adult, geriatrics), what diseases/illness/disorders are typically seen on a daily basis on their unit?
List work experience with what you do (equipment, patient population, techniques, evidence based practice projects, collaboration, procedures, etc).

MM/DD/YY for all job entries.
Hours worked per week. If Per Diem (PRN) (as needed), list the least to most hours worked in a week/month.
List all nursing work experience, but also can be other jobs if applicable
Give a reason for lapse in timeline. Example vacation, school, looking for another job, illness, family.
If applicant lists certificates ie CCRN, CEN, CNOR, ABLS, etc, any other specialized training in CV, list with CV packet. This assists the consultant review all the information and validates they have current experience/training.
Review PSV for all licenses and make sure they match timeline for work entry, school graduation, licenses listed in CV. RN/APRN work experience cant predate the initial RN licensure.
Circle nursing conferred degrees and date they graduated.
Don’t place diplomas or CHEA in CV packets.
Each nursing school will need accreditation through the nursing accrediting bodies (NLN, ACEN, CCNE). Circle the program (bachelors, masters, doctorate in nursing). CRNA will need through the Council of Accreditation (COA).
PSV for licenses are through the state or Nursys. For every license listed and state worked in, must have in CV or show their license was a compact state.
APRN and CRNA practitioners: need PSV through website; will not accept a wallet card, diploma, or letter sent applicant for verification.
Scan in documents well (straight, no lines, readable, photo copies where counter is visible). The packet represents the applicant.
Read CV for spelling errors, spaces, poor grammar.
Separate LPN, from RN, from APRN work experience time.
